Description |
Knight Templar ceremonial sword and scabbard Hilt is decorated with several symbols of Templary. Grip is bone or ivory and is inlayed with the owner's initials surrounded by oak and laurel leaves, and surmounted with a calvary cross impaling a crown. The pommel is a dragon-plumed knight's helmet. Scabbard: decorated with Templar designs, scrolling and a raised relief of a pilgrim and a crown impaled by a red enameled calvary cross. The name of the owner, Alexander McRae is etched toward the top. Blade: etched scrollwork, owner's name and chivalric designs. |
